Tanjida is a bilingual, first-generation Bangladeshi American, South Asian Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor, and Consultant with over ten years of experience in a wide variety of clinical settings. She is a Clinical Supervisor at Wove Therapy. She is a founder of Warriors’ Wellness Mental Health Counseling, PLLC. She specializes in multicultural psychotherapy and addiction. She works with culturally diverse children, adolescents, adults, and couples in her practice. She provides clinical, crisis consultation, individual, group, and couples therapy, clinical supervision, and training through an anti-racist, intersectional, and trauma-informed lens. She provides person-centered, empathic care which focuses on collaborative, integrative and holistic treatment approaches. She is a second degree (Level 2) Reiki Practitioner. She speaks English and Bengali. She is an artist, LGBTQIA+ ally, and social justice advocate which she incorporates in her work to empower others on a journey of trauma recovery.
Tanjida has implemented and facilitated Here and Now groups, art therapy groups, conflict resolution groups, mindfulness groups, and will be starting a Multicultural Empowerment, and an Asians and Pacific Islanders support group in the coming months. She also facilitated wellness & self-management, recovery, anger management, anxiety, stress management, smoking cessation, medication management, MICA, bereavement, women’s support, and finance management groups. She received her BA in Psychology with a minor in Studio Art from Hunter College. She completed her Ed.M. and MA in Mental Health Counseling from Columbia University.
